ECTA is the European branch federation of the producers of cardboard tubes. ECTA represents the interests of the European core and tube industry at European institutions and offers information on economic, technical and environmental issues, serves as a network for contacts and does a public relations work for the core industry. The purpose of the association is to promote in the widest sense the interests of the cardboard tube industry in Europe. ECTA is a non-profit association.
At present, ECTA includes about 65 members from following countries: Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, Finland, France, Germany, Hungary, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Lebanon, Lithuania, Netherlands, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland and UK.
Around 90% of the total cardboard tube market volume in Europe is presented in ECTA.
The membership of ECTA is open to all national associations of the cardboard tube industry and to individual companies in countries where no association exists.
Once a year ECTA organises the conference EUROTUBE, to which all members and tube manufacturers interested in becoming members are invited.
