A 5K Spartan obstacle course, consisting of twenty obstacles and plenty of mud, was the setting for fund-raising occasion organised by Mia Jobson, daughter of Jarshire Director Nick Jobson. Mia’s team, made up of fellow students from Shiplake College, competed against father, Nick Jobson, and friend James Moon.
Taking place at Windsor on Sunday 6 October the Shiplake team worked very well together, finishing in a respectable time. It is understood that the “oldies” also finished the course but no details about the time taken or their condition at the finish has been reported.
More importantly, the event raised £765 for “Young Minds Trust”, a charity for which Mia had set up a “GoFundMe” page. Mia wishes to take this opportunity to extend special thanks to Antonio at Mecoval for his generous donation – (the GoFundMe page is still open!).
